Dental Implants

Are you missing teeth? Dental implants are the strongest, longest-lasting replacement.

What Do You Do When Eating Becomes Difficult?

For most of your life, eating food was something you took for granted, right? You might love to eat hard foods, or sticky, chewy foods that you’re finding more and more difficult to eat as you get older. For many adults, this is a familiar state of affairs. Whether you’ve lost teeth, had teeth damaged, or are suffering from excess decay and the need for tooth extraction, dealing with the pain, embarrassment, and difficulty of not being able to chew with ease can change your life!

We understand the difficult situation you’re in. You may be suffering from lower self-esteem, you might not want to eat around others, and you could be avoiding spending quality time with friends and family, none of which is acceptable for you! We want you to be able to be happy with your teeth and return to a place where eating your favorite foods is just another part of day-to-day life!

Restoring Your Ability To Chew

One of the number one causes of chewing difficulties is lost teeth. It can be hard to chew your food with missing teeth! Many patients also have dentures, both full and partial, but report problems with getting them to stay in place. If you’ve ever had your dentures fall out at the wrong moment, you know exactly how that feels!

We offer several different solutions for patients having the exact difficulties you’re experiencing, and all of them are centered around one of the most advanced dental restoration solutions available--dental implants!

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are meant to act just like the roots of your natural teeth. These titanium screws are placed in your jaw, where they integrate with your bone. Titanium is ideally suited to this task due to its high ability to integrate with bone – many patients report that their implants seem more stable than a natural tooth!

The top of your implant can be fitted with a number of different restorations, depending on the end result of your treatment plan. For single tooth implants, we use a lifelike crown to provide a natural, strong restoration. Multiple teeth implant solutions, which can use anywhere from two implants up to six, are topped with:

  • threaded holes for the permanent placement of dental bridges
  • balls that fit into sockets on your existing dentures
  • a bar that your existing dentures clip onto

No matter how many teeth restorations it will take you to get your smile and eating ability back, Good Life Dentistry can find the right solution for you! If you’re interested in finding out more about what implants can do for you, don’t spend another minute wishing you could get the solution you need!
